Programme: Integrated PhD (in collaboration with the University of Calcutta)
Basic Qualification: B.Sc. with First Class/Division i.e. minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/EWS / PWD candidates) either in Physics Honours or combination of Physics and Mathematics.(Mathematics should have to be taken as allied subject in B.Sc along with Physics.)

Age Limit: None. However, the last qualifying University examination (B.Sc.) should have been taken not earlier than 2017.
Fellowship - Rs. 12000/-
Programme: Department of Astrophysics & Cosmology (AC) & Department of Theoretical Sciences (TS)
Basic Qualification: Masters in Science/Technology with First Class/Division i.e., minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/EWS/Differently abled candidates) in Physics and Applied Mathematics.

None. However, the last qualifying University examination (Masters in Science /Technology) should have been taken not earlier than 2017.
Programme: Department of Condensed Matter Physics and Material Sciences (CMP&MS)
Basic Qualification: Masters in Science/Technology with First Class/Division i.e., minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/EWS/Differently abled candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Electronics, Nanotechnology.
