IIIT Hyderabad invites applications for admissions into Undergraduate Dual Degree Admission Program for the academic year 2018-19 through UGEE 2018 (UG Entrance Exam)

Eligibility Criteria:

CSD: Applicants completing their II year of B.E. / B.Tech. in CSE / IT by July 2018

ECD: Applicants completing their II year of B.E. / B.Tech. in ECE / ETE / EIE / EEE by July 2018

Eligibility Criteria for CLD Program:

Stream I: Higher Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics. A keen interest in prior work in languages and aptitude for Conceptual Analysis and Mathematics is essential

Stream II: Higher Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent in Humanities, Art and Social Sciences with Mathematics; a keen interest in prior work in languages and aptitude for Conceptual Analysis and Mathematics is essential

Eligibility Criteria for CND Program (for NTSE or KVPY Scholars only)

Students who have qualified in National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) – Level 2 or Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) with Higher Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream students

Selection Process

Admissions will be based on performance in an entrance examination (full computer based) and an interview, both conducted by IIIT-H

The exam is to be held on April 18, 2018 (Wednesday) across multiple cities

Shortlisted candidates from this exam will have to clear an interview to get admitted

Entrance Exam Syllabus

Standard +2 (for e.g., CBSE) level syllabus. The questions will be probing the research orientation and inquisitiveness of the candidate. There is no fixed pattern of the exam. It may change from year to year

B.E (or) B.Tech [Computer Science] or [Information Technology] Students must take Computer Science exams

B.E (or) B.Tech [Elctronics and Communications Engineering] Students must take Electronics and Communication Engineering exams.
