First Year Degree Admissions (2022-23)

F.Y. B. A. / KY, B. Voc, F.Y. B. Sc. Admission process for the Academic Year 2022-23 will start after the declaration of the 12th result of the Maharashtra State board*.

First Year BA/BSc/Win Admission Process 2022-23

1. Admissions to first-year BA/BSc will be given based on Special/Principal/Major subject g. BA[Psychology), BA (Political science), B.Sc. (Physics), B.Sc. (Statistics), etc.
2. There will be a single admission form for B.A. and a single admission form for B.Sc. (Grant-in-aid Subjects) with multiple preferential choices for the Special/Principal/Major subject to be It is mandatory to mention subjects in order of their preference.
3. Students will be given choices to select General/Minor/Subsidiary or allied subjects by keeping in mind the maximum strength allowed per subject.

4. Separate application form needs to be filled for self-financed B.Sc. and B.Voc. courses like BSc(Amination], BSc[Biotechnology), BSc (Computer Science], BSc (Environmental Science], BSc(Microbiology), B.Voc.(Digital Art and Animation), etc.
5. A general merit list (List of applicants) will be prepared for all the applied students and displayed on the website. The reservation policies of the Government, UGC and SPPU will be
6. Queries regarding the general merit list (if any) will be handled in the next 2 days,
7. There will be three rounds of admissions to each class. Separate Merit lists will be prepared based on Special/Principal/Major subjects for the first round of admissions and will be displayed on the website.
8. Students will be given 3 days for taking the admission after displaying the merit lists. Seats will be allocated based on a) merit, (b) reservation, and (c)subject preferences. Seat allocation will be based on the availability of seats as per their category.
9. Students should take admissions in the given stipulated time. Students failing to take admission to this round will not have any claim in further rounds of admission.
10. Once the student's name appears on the merit list, the student needs to fill admission form. For BA and BSc (Grant-in-aid) courses, the student must select General/Minor/Subsidiary or allied Once subjects are selected it will not be changed in any case.
11. Rounds 2 & 3 will be based on counseling/table rounds depending on the subject-wise vacant seats and category-wise cut-off.
12. If any seats remain vacant from general or reserved categories after three rounds of admission, seats will be filled from available reported students.
13. Kindly note that the admission will be confirmed only after verifying all the documents at the admission center by the admission committee and payment of fees.
14. Once the admission is taken by choosing Principal/Major and General/Minor subjects it will be treated as final and confirmed. There will be no change of subjects thereafter.
