BSc. Paramedical Technology course admission Process (Before filling application form read rules carefully):

  1. A candidate must be citizen of India. Must have passed SSC & HSC from Maharashtra state.
  2. ONLY Candidates Domiciled of Maharashtra will be eligible. The candidate shall submit Domicile Certificate (अधिवास   प्रमाणपत्र) along with application form.   (Residential  proof   (निवासी   प्रमाणपत्र)  will   NOT   be   considered   as alternative to Domicile certificate).
  3. A candidate Domiciled in Maharashtra, but having constitutional reserved category documents of other state will not be eligible for reserved category claim. However, if such candidate submits Domicile certificate he/she shall be considered for admission as open category student.
  4. Candidate who have passed HSC examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) shall be eligible.
  5. Candidate who have passed HSC examination (Medical Lab Technician-1, 2 & 3) are also eligible for concerned specialty technical course ONLY.
  6. Eligible Candidate must have born on or before 31-12-2002.
  7. The student should apply in person (Student/Parent/guardian/anybody can submit application on behalf of student). Kindly note, the application format is attached to this advertisement. The same format without any editing/additions should be used for submission. The students shall submit applications to CET CELL, Govt. Medical college, Aurangabad college campus building, ground floor.
  8. Application along with all self-attested documents will be mandatory. The student should verify all information in the application before final submission. Corrections / Over writing / scratching in the application form will NOT be accepted. Application will NOT be accepted via email / Fax/ Post / Courier.
  1. All documents enlisted in the advertisement will be compulsory required. Irrespective of reasons, any candidate unable to submit all necessary documents, his/her form will be rejected. Receipts/ acknowledgements /undertaking on bond will NOT be considered as an alternative to any documents. It is important to note that NO certificate(s) will be attached to application after the last date of submission for any claims.
  2. Merit &Selection list will be displayed on the Govt. Medical College, Aurangabad college website (www.gmcaurangabad.com) & College CET CELL Notice Board as per the schedule.The source of all information pertaining to advertisement, selection and joining will be made available on the college website: www.gmcaurangabad.com. Students should regularly check website for updates.
  3. Selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of the merit based on total marks obtained in HSC-PCB (physics Chemistry & Biology Total) / equivalent marks as per clause No.5 mentioned above.
  4. For preparing merit list, total marks of PCB after considering attempts shall be considered (for calculating the final total marks of PCB marks, subject wise attempt shall be made applicable; for each subject if the candidate has attempt, 2 marks will be deducted per attempt per subject). If tie of PCB total still persist then, grand total of HSC after considering deduction of 2 marks for each attempt, followed by grand total marks of SSC, followed by age will be the criteria for preparing merit list.
  5. Category student should submit Caste certificate, Caste validity & Non Creamy layer certificate valid up to 31-3-2021. It is important to note that all category documents will be required for category claim. Receipts / acknowledgements of proposals submitted /undertaking on bond for consideration of category claims will NOT be accepted as alternative to

category documents. If student is not submitting category documents on or before the last date of submission, he/she shall be considered as Open category student. The category of student will be final after last date of submission. Kindly note no certificate(s) will be attached to application after the last date of submission.

  1. Candidates claiming EWS should submit the EWS certificate in the prescribed format issued by Govt. of Maharashtra.
  2. Inter-se amongst the reserved categories will be operated at the end of each admission process against the unfilled reserved categories seats as per merit and choice of the reserved categories candidates. The seats remaining vacant from various categories will be filled by inter-se policy as below:
    1. From among the candidates of their respective group from the Inter- se Merit List of that particular group where the vacancies exist.
    2. If the seats still remain vacant, then the seats will be filled, from among the candidates of al the categories mentioned above from the all categories combined merit list
    3. If the seats remaining vacant then the seats will be filled from among the candidates of the common merit list
    4. The seats remaining vacant from SEBC and EWS category will be allotted to general category candidate.

The groups are as follows:

GROUP-I                     

  1. Scheduled Castes and Schedule Caste converted to Buddhism (S.C.) 13%
  2. Scheduled Tribes including those living out-side specified area (S.T.) 7%

GROUP-II

  1. Vimukta Jati (DT) (A) 3%
  2. Nomadic Tribes (NT1(B)) 2.5%

GROUP-III

  1. Nomadic Tribes (NT2 (C)) 3.5%
  2. Nomadic Tribes(NT3 (D)) 2%
  3. Other Backward Classes (OBC) including SBC 19%

 

  1. Candidates will be required to submit all original certificates at the time of joining. Admission will not be finalized without all original documents.

17.Demand draft of total fees from nationalized bank as prescribed in the advertisement will be required after the allotment of seat. (VJ/NT1/NT2/NT3/OBC/EWS/SEBC/OPEN Category Rs.45200/- & SC/ST category: Rs.6500/-)

  1. After the allotment of seat, the students can give STATUS RETENTION in the prescribed format. Once status retention is given the seat allotted to the candidate becomes full and final. It is made clear that under no circumstances whatsoever, a candidate will be allowed to submit a Status Retention Form after the aforesaid last date. Under any circumstances whatsoever, a candidate who has submitted a Status Retention Form shall not be allowed to withdraw the same. All the candidates therefore, should take the note of this before submission of such a Status Retention Form.

  2. Preference filling: The allotment of seat shall be in descending order as per the preference of choices given in the application form from 1 to 11. Candidate can fill minimum 1 and maximum 11 choices in the application form. It is not compulsory to fill all choices. However, once the application form is submitted and the student who has not filled all the choices; he/she will NOT be allowed to add preferences after the last date of submission.

  3. CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE: Failure of the candidate in making full and correct statements in the application form and/or suppression of any information would lead to disqualification of the candidate, even at later date. Such a candidate will be debarred from the entire selection process. It is responsibility of every candidate to submit proper documents. Any attempt to submit documents which are not genuine will lead to cancellation of the admission of the candidate, forfeiture of the fees, deposits and

expulsion of the candidate from the college by the Dean or by authorized official.

If any candidate / authorized representative or person accompanying is found obstructing the admission process, or trying to influence in unlawful manner/ creating nuisance, the candidate shall be liable for disqualification from the process of selection and appropriate legal action will be taken. The decision taken by the Dean/authorized person in this respect shall be final and binding.

  1. The B.Sc Paramedical technology Course students will be having dress and apron color code.

  2. No hostel facility will be available to students admitted for the B.Sc Paramedical technology Course.
