Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Thursday declared the results of Junior Engineers examination 2018 on its official website.

Candidates, who have appeared for the SSC JE examinations, can obtain their results from the official SSC website — ssc.nic.in.

SSC had conducted the Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) (Paper-I) examination from September 23 to 27, 2019, at various centres across the country. A total of 3,77,133 candidates had appeared for the SSC JE examination.

The official notification in this regard reads “Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination, 2018 (Paper-I) was conducted by the Commission from 23.09.2019 to 27.09.2019 in various centres all over the country. A total number of 3,77,133 candidates appeared in this Examination.”

The notification also reads “As the Paper-I Computer Based Examination of Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract), 2018 was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website on 07.02.2019. Such normalized marks have been used to qualify the candidates for the next stage of Examination (i.e. Paper-II).”

SSC will conduct the descriptive paper (Paper-II) of Junior Engineers Examination 2018 on December 29,2019. SSC has also released the final answer key for JE examination on its official portal. Candidates can obtain the same from the direct link provided below.
