SSC CGL Tier II Examination 2017

New Delhi: Staff Selection Commission, SSC has released an important notice for the recently concluded Combined Graduate Level, CGL Tier II Examination 2017. As per the notice available on the official website, the examination conducted on February 21, 2018, faced technical difficulties. There were delays in the download of the question papers. In the interest of the candidates, hence, the commission has taken a decision to conduct a re-examination for Paper I which is Quantitative Ability on March 9, 2018, at 10:30 am. Details regarding the venue would be uploaded soon on the regional websites.

Candidates are requested to please note that the re-examination would only be conducted for the candidates who have appeared for Paper I Examination on February 21, 2018, at the designated venues. In case a candidate had missed the paper, he/she would not be permitted the appear in the re-examination. Also, for candidates of Patna's Cyber City examination centre, re-examination for both Paper I and Paper II would be conducted on the same date, which is March 9, 2018. On February 21, 2018, candidates across centres in the country faced problems due to delays in the start of the examination. The examination then started at 12:10 pm and candidates were given the full time of 2 hours to complete the examination. As many as 41,331 candidates were scheduled to appear in the examination on that date and the centres recorded 80 percent attendance. However, After discussions among all the 9 regional/ sub-regional offices, SSC has decided to re-conduct the examination.

Earlier this month, the SSC CGL Tier II Exam 2018 scheduled for February 17, at Animate Infotech, Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, New Delhi was cancelled after some unruly candidates disrupted the examination. The commission, after carefully analysing the sequent of events has decided to cancel the examination of the said centre and also decided not to conduct any re-examination. As for the examination conducted on February 21, there would be a re-examination for Paper I on March 9, 2018. For Patna's Cyber City centre, the re-examination of both Paper I and II would be conducted.
