SBI Clerk Main exam 2020: Check the pattern and structure

State Bank of India is likely to postpone Clerk examination in view lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic.

SBI has scheduled to conduct Clerk main examination on April 19, 2020.

SBI is conducting this recruitment drive to fill up Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre.

SBI Clerk Main examination structure

SBI Clerk Main examination is divided into four parts — General / Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The total duration of the SBI Clerk Main examination will be 2 hours 40 minutes. The exam will be of 200 marks.

  • It is to be noted that each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above.
  1. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual — English and Hindi.
  2. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  3. Candidates need to score a minimum percentage mark on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon).
  4. Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be decided by SBI.
  5. Minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are not prescribed.
  6. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise.
  7. Candidates qualified in the test (main examination) will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories.
