The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has postponed the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT) examination to an undisclosed date.

Earlier, the 1st stage CBT for CEN-01/2019 for NTPC posts was scheduled to be held between June and September 2019.

According to a notice issued by the government of India, Ministry of Railways, the first stage computer based test (CBT) that was tentatively scheduled between June and September 2019 has been postponed. The revised schedule will be published in the official websites of all RRBs later on.

More than 35,000 vacancies are to be filled through the selection procedure. RRB is planning to conduct NTPC exam in 15 different languages.

The NTPC Call letter/Admit Card will be released 10 days prior to the RRB NTPC CBT Stage-1 Exam 2019. Candidates, who have applied for the RRB NTPC (CEN 01/2019) Recruitment Exam 2019, will be able to download their admit card, once it is uploaded on the official website of the respective Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

The Railway Recruitment Board had invited online Application form for various posts NTPC, Para Medical Staff, Ministerial and Isolated Categories, Level -1 Posts, etc.

The RRB NTPC 2019 selection process will include the following stages

1) 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

2) 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

3) Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable)

4) Document Verification/Medical Examination.

There will be negative marking for an incorrect answer in CBTs. 1/3 rd of the marks will be deducted for every mistake or wrong answer.
