Punjab Secondary Education Board has announced the class 10th result on Friday May 29, 2020. The PSEB Board has also released the class 8th, and 5th results. The PSEB result 2020 can be accessed from the official website of the Board - pseb.ac.in.
The PSEB has promote all the students on the basis of their pre-board exam marks. The students who appeared for the exam are advised to visit the official website of the Board to check and download the result.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak and the nationwide lockdown, the Punjab Board exams were cancelled in March. The Punjab Class 10th, and 12th Board exams were scheduled to be held between March 20 to 31. However, the exams were postponed by the PSEB Board and rescheduled to be conducted from April 1, 2020. The Board later cancelled all the board exams including the exams of class 5 and class 8.
On May 8, Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh had announced on Tweeter that the state govt have decided to promote students of Class V, Class VIII to next classes as well as to promote class X students to next class on the basis of pre-board results. For Class XII examinations, the Punjab govt will follow Government of India's decision.
The students can follow the steps provided below to check and download their result through the official website of the Punjab Board:
1) Open the official website of the PSEB - pseb.ac.in
2) Click on the result link available on the homepage
3) Enter your roll number or name to find your result
4) Your PSEB Board Exam result 2020 will be displayed on the screen
5) Check your result and download the same for further reference
