The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission has released the Excise Constable Physical Standard Measurement (PSM) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) result.

Candidates, who appeared for the PSM & PET examination, can check their results through the official website - https://www.osssc.gov.in.

The PSM & PET test was conducted from January 18, 2019 to January 31, 2019.

Now, the successful candidates will have to appear in written examination in the month of September 2019.

The candidates who appeared in the PSM & PET may visit the Commission's website: www.osssc.gov.in to see the results.

The Written Test for the qualified candidates will be held at all the approved examination centres in the district headquarters on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 10.00 AM onwards.

The qualified candidates can download their Admission letters, containing intimation about the date, time and venue for the Written Tests carrying the scanned photograph and signature of the eligible applicants and specimen signature of the Secretary from the Commission's website from August 24, 2019 onwards by using their User ID and Password to appear in the examination.

Each eligible applicant shall have to download his/her admission letter before the date of examination by visiting the Commission's website and clicking on the submenu "online admission letter".

Candidates should note that no hard-copy of Admission Letter will be sent to any candidate by post.

The OSSSC had invited applications for 219 Excise Constable Posts in Excise Department, Odisha on Contract Basis. The Online Applications were invited by OSSSC - Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission from October 12, 2018 to November 12, 2018.

The appointment to the posts shall be made initially on contractual basis on consolidated monthly remuneration Rs.8,750/- per month.

The final results will be published in due course in the Commission's website
