Students wanting to give the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) will have to make a beeline to the bank on Wednesday as the deadline to submit application forms and pay fees is on March 1.
According to a 2016 Supreme Court Order, candidates who wish to pursue MBBS and BDS programmes from government, private and deemed collegesuniversities in any state or union territory of India have to mandatorily fill NEET applications from 2017.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) will conduct NEET 2017 in the state on May 7.
This year, the number of students writing the exam has gone up significantly . Last year, NEET Phase-II was held for candidates who have not filled NEET Phase-I forms.
