Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has postponed online preliminary examination for the Assistant post to October 30 and 31, 2019.

Earlier, LIC had scheduled to conduct Assistant preliminary examination on October 21 and 22, 2019, which has now been postponed to October 30 and 31, 2019.

The official notification reads “Different Divisions of LIC of India have issued the notifications on 17.9.2019 for recruitment of Assistants in respective Divisions. Notified dates for Preliminary examination are 21st & 22nd of October 2019. It has been decided to reschedule the dates for Preliminary Examination for all the Divisions. Now the Preliminary Examination for the Divisions will be held on 30th & 31st of October 2019. All other conditions and clauses of the recruitment process will remain unchanged.”

As per the information available on the LIC will release Assistant admit card 2019 from the official website from October 15 to 22, 2019. The notification also reads “Candidates may please take a note of it. Date/ Shift/ Venue of examination for individual candidate will be provided in the call letter which would be made available for downloading from our website in due course of time.”

Candidates who qualify the Assistant preliminary examination would be eligible to appear for the main examination. LIC will release the date for Assistant main examination later on the official website.

LIC had commenced the online registration process for Assistant post on September 17, 2019. The last date to submit online application for LIC Assistant recruitment was October 1, 2019. Candidates are also advised to visit the official website of LIC regularly to get latest updates on the Assistant recruitment.
