Indian Council of Agricultural Research, ICAR is expected to release the ICAR 2018 re-exam dates by end of July 2018 on the official website aieea.net. The ICAR Result 2018 were first delayed which was quickly followed by the cancellation of AIEEA 2018 examination. The events happened following a court order after reports of widespread technical glitches and errors were reported. Sources had earlier suggested that the ICAR AIEEA 2018 re-exam dates would be released by last week of July 2018 on aieea.net and icar.org.in.

Sources however have also cautioned about a minor delay in the re-examination of AIEEA. As per the information shared, the dates may further be pushed back till end of August. Though there is no notification as yet, sources are confident that the examination dates would be released by end of July or latest by first week of August.

In regards the delay in the examination, experts pointed out that the sessions cannot be delayed indefinitely and ICAR must release the dates soon. Also, the sessions should, as per the experts, start latest by October 15.

Delaying the entrance examination would, in turn, have a direct impact on the academic calendar, pushing back the entire process. Even in the past, noted experts, there have been delay but the academic session was able to start by September.

The primary focus, countered others, is that ICAR has to ensure better administrative facilities after the last examination. Some have even hinted if ICAR is contemplating reverting to a paper based examination to counter the technical concerns. However, there are pure rumours and conjectures and there was no confirmation of the same either from sources or from ICAR officials.

Candidates who had appeared for the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions entrance test – All India Entrance Examinations for Admissions, AIEEA 2018 on June 23 and June 24 are advised to keep a check on the official website. The updates on the date, as and when released, would also be published on this page.
