IBPS PO Prelims 2019 begins today. The first shift of the exam took place today, i.e. on Oct 12, 2019, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Like previous year, the paper of this year too had sectional timings, where 20 minutes were allotted to every section.
There were three sections in the exam, which were Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. No major changes were seen in the paper.
After talking to the aspirants and based on their feedback, it can be concluded that the overall level of the exam was easy to moderate.

Numerical Ability ( Moderate)
The level of this section was moderate. You can easily get a good score in this section if you have practiced well. No number series questions were asked in this shift. The topics from which a major chunk of questions were asked included Data Interpretation and Arithmetic Word Problems.

English Language ( Moderate to Tough)
Out of all the sections, this section was the toughest. The Reading Comprehension was based on the theme of Western Education and was the highlight of this section, as 7- 8 questions were asked from this topic. Other topics of importance were Error Spotting and Cloze Test. Para Jumble questions were not asked in this shift.

Reasoning Ability (Easy to Moderate)
The section of Reasoning Ability was easy to moderate. As is observed in PO Prelims exams, this year too, puzzle sets dominated this section. There were 4 sets of puzzles in the paper and 5 questions of Inequality. This time, questions on Syllogism were not asked. Some miscellaneous questions such as Blood Relations, Direction sense, and Alphanumeric series were included.
