Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is going to conduct preliminary examination for Clerk recruitment on December 7, 8, 14 and 21, 2019.
Before appearing for the online examination, candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria stipulated in the recruitment notification.
Here are some instructions that candidates who are prepping for IBPS Clerks preliminary examination need to follow.
Reach on time
Candidates should be present at the examination centre before the time given in the call letter. Candidates reporting 30 minutes after the reporting time will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It may be noted that no query in this connection will be entertained.
Admit card to be surrendered
Candidates need to bring IBPS Clerks prelims admit card along with the photo identity proof in original and a photocopy to the examination centre. Candidates are required to write roll number and registration number on the photocopy of photo identity proof.
It is to be noted that candidates will not be permitted to appear for the examination without admit card and photo identity proof. Candidates would be required to put your left thumb impression clearly and sign clearly in the respective spaces provided on the admit card in the presence of the invigilator in the examination hall. Candidates need to hand over their call letter along with the photocopy of the photo identity proof duly stapled together to the invigilator in the examination hall when he/she collects the admit cards.
Use of Stationery
Candidates should bring stationeries such as pencils, eraser and a ballpoint pen to the examination hall.
Items that are not allowed inside the examination centre
Stationery items like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, Other items like Goggles, Handbags, Hair-pin, Hair-band, Belt, Cap, Any watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, Any metallic item, Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle, Any other item which could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices like camera and Bluetooth devices are not allowed inside the examination centre.
Candidates should follow the above-said instructions to avoid hassles during the examination.
Candidates who qualify the IBPS Clerks preliminary examination would be eligible to appear for Mains which would be held on January 19, 2020. IBPS will release the provisional allotment result in April.
The selected candidates would be appointed in the participating organisations — Allahabad Bank, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Syndicate Bank, Andhra Bank, Central Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce, UCO Bank, Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Indian Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, United Bank of India and Bank of Maharashtra.
