IBPS Clerk Prelims Tips For Exam 2019

Every year Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts examinations to recruit clerks for the participating nationalized banks. The IBPS Clerk recruitment examination is conducted in two phases - preliminary and mains.

The candidates need to appear for the preliminary examination first and those who qualify become eligible to appear for the mains exam followed by interview and document verification.

The IBPS Clerk 2019 preliminary examination will be held on December 07,08,14 and 21, 2019, while the Mains exam will be conducted on January 19, 2020. This time, the clerk recruitment is being conducted for a total of 12,075 vacancies.

IBPS Clerk aspirants looking out for ways and strategies to crack and score high in this examination are advised to follow the tips and tricks provided below for help:

Revise the basic concepts

The success in any examination depends upon how well you know the basics of all the important subjects and topics. Candidates are advised to revise and clear all the basics of Reasoning, English, and Quantitative Aptitude one more time before the exam.

Get acquainted with exam pattern

Refer to the previous years question papers to familiarise yourself with the IBPS Clerk preliminary exam pattern. If your know the latest pattern questions, it will help you get an edge over your competitors.

Attempt Mock Tests

The mock tests are best way to know how well you have prepared for the exam and what are the points that need improvement. Analyse your mock test results and work on your weak areas to make sure you do not repeat the same mistakes during the exam in December.

Keep calm during exam

If you feel tense or nervous during exam, relax yourself mentally and physically. Take a few deep breaths, release the tension in your body and mind. Stay calm and think positive, it will help you concentrate and make it through the exam.
