The board’s decision to conduct re-examination in the month of July-August was first taken in 2015 when education minister Vinod Tawade stated that students can write papers in July-August instead of September-October, to ensure they do not miss out on an academic year.

Officials said, dates for filling exam forms and other information about the examinations will be made available on the board's website for the next seven days. The board has set up a helpline for the students and parents, whereby respective guides have also been appointed.
