Smart preparation tips in the last hour
The foremost essential for succeeding in JEE is a smart work plan which covers the entire syllabus well in time. While most of the serious aspirants would have covered the entire syllabus by now, following the effective and strategic tools would endeavor better results.
Time Utilization - After analyzing the confusion and wrong attempts and weaker areas from the Phase 1 of JEE Main, aspirants need to start working on these areas without wasting time in order to improve their performance. With better evaluation of the current preparedness, a strategic timetable will help get a better insight. All the subjects need equal attention and hence segregate the remaining weeks wisely for all the three subjects.
Follow a reputed source - Start the preparations with NCERT books. Undeniably, NCERT books form the basis of JEE Main and JEE Advanced. These basic books form a good conceptual base and are easy to understand. Identify the topics subject wise you have difficulties in remembering the formulae for solving questions. Follow question banks from reputed sources and solve them in a reputed manner which helps in efficient practice for the Main 2020.
Focus on your target – Successful candidates always learn from their weaker areas and hence focusing on these areas will surely help. Having a systematic revision plan with proper time management will be the key to your success. Rigorous practice has been found to be useful and students tend to learn from their mistakes and avoid repeating them.
Concept clarity – Focus on keeping your concepts clear rather than just mug up. This stage should be utilized for problem solving , improving the time limit to solve the difficult questions and understanding your strengths and overcoming your weaknesses. Building self-confidence and the right exam temperament are the keys to score better marks in the actual exam.
Online mock tests - Rigorous revision and attempting several mock tests will help you get thorough with subjects, develop concept clarity and keep you well updated with the current trends and pattern of JEE Main exam. MyPAT online provides complete access to previous year papers, online mock tests, doubt clearing sessions, and expert opinion that will provide a real time analysis.
The exam-apt strategy
Sometimes smart work prevails hard work and preparing strategically ensures a better performance in comparison to the peers. Adaptability and swift response to questions comes with regular practice and hence making the most of the available time in revision helps in scoring better.
Focus more on polishing the strengths by consistent revision to perfect the concepts. Creating self- written notes helps one to memorize the formulae, tips and tricks and are very helpful during JEE preparation and easy to revise.
Taking some time to relax or rest also prepares the brain to recollect the learnt things on your fingertips. Keep calm but do not lose focus as temperament plays a vital role in your success in JEE.
