About EPFO:

EPFO is one of the World's largest Social Security Organisations in terms of clientele and the volume of financial transactions undertaken. At present it maintains 17.14 crore accounts (Annual Report 2015-16) pertaining to its members.

The Employees' Provident Fund came into existence with the promulgation of the Employees' Provident Funds Ordinance on the 15th November, 1951. It was replaced by the Employees' Provident Funds Act, 1952.
The Employees' Provident Funds Bill was introduced in the Parliament as Bill Number 15 of the year 1952 as a Bill to provide for the institution of provident funds for employees in factories and other establishments. The Act is now referred as the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 which extends to the whole of India except Jammu and Kashmir.
The Act and Schemes framed there under are administered by a tri-partite Board known as the Central Board of Trustees, Employees' Provident Fund, consisting of representatives of Government (Both Central and State), Employers, and Employees.

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has released the admit cards of the EPFO Social Security Assistant (SSA) Exam 2019. All the candidates can download the EPFO SSA admit card 2019 from the official website, the link for which is epfindia.gov.in . The EPFO SSC examination 2019 is scheduled to be held on August 31 and September 1.

How to download EPFO SSA admit card 2019:

• Log on to the official website, epfindia.gov.in
• On the homepage, click on 'Recruitment of Social Security Assistant'
• You will be directed to the new page
• Enter your Registration No/Roll No and Password /DOB(dd-mm-yy)
• Click on log in
• Admit cards will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take print out of the same for future use.

Pay scale:

The selected candidates will be paid under Level 4 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) (Gr. 'C') with Entry Pay Rs 25,500 under 7th Pay Commission).

• Preliminary Examination (Phase-I): August 31 and September 1
• Main Examination (Phase-II): Call letters will be sent after declaration of result of Preliminary Examination (Phase-I)
• Skill test (Phase-III) (Computer Data Entry Test): Call letters will be sent after declaration of result of Main Examination (Phase-II)
