CMAT 2019: Exam on January 28

CMAT 2019 will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the very first time on January 28, 2019. Check out some important instructions to score well in the exam.


Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2019 will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the very first time on January 28, 2019. Till 2018, both CMAT and GPAT was conducted by  AICTE, All India Council of Technical Education. CMAT is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to MBA, PGDM, Executive PGDM and PGCM courses.

CMAT 2019 exam pattern comprises of three sections- Quantitative techniques, data interpretation, and logical reasoning and will be conducted on a single day in two shifts- morning shift from 9.30am to 12.30pm and afternoon shift from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.. Each and every section needs proper time and understanding for better performance. Candidates appearing for the test can check out the important instructions before the exam to score well.  

Revision: You may just have finished the entire syllabus of CMAT. Now this is the time for candidates to go only for the revision part. Revising each and every chapter and topic will help candidates to perform well in the exam. Go through all the chapters in each section. The last few hours  before the examination is primarily for this task.

Spot your weak areas: The most important part of preparation is to track down your weak areas. Make a list of the topics that seems tough to you. To prepare well, candidates need to check and re-revise these weak areas before the examination. Most of the time in your revision part should have these topics in it.

Well acquainted with Question Paper: Take time out and read thoroughly previous years question papers. Reading out previous years question papers helps the appearing candidates to understand the pattern of the question paper and also have an idea of the types of questions that are asked in each section of the paper.

Solve Mock Tests: Mock tests are the best part of the preparation strategy. Download the mock test papers from the official website and keep testing yourself. Appear for mock test in these last few hours before the examination as well. This will help you to save your time and effort when you are actually appearing for the exam.

Know the Tricks and Shortcuts: Candidates should know lot of tricks and shortcuts to crack the questions in less time. Use tricks to solve the questions in minimum time. To know the tricks and shortcuts candidates should read and take help from various books and online webistes. This will help you to save some time for the revision part in the exam hall.
