Admissions to class XI for non-Maharashtra state board students will begin on June 5. As of now, only students passing class X from the state board could fill up part 1of the admission forms.
Deputy director of education for Pune division Dinkar Temkar said that students belonging to CBSE, ICSE or other boards will have to get their forms filled and approved at the nine guidance centres across the city .
“We are opening up the on line portal for non-SSC students from Monday. Students have been provided the login ID and password in the information booklet. They have to fill up the forms and get it approved at the guidance centres,“ said Temkar.
Students will have to fill up the application forms as per the information given in the mark sheet but they will have to get it approved at guidance centres specified for non-SSC students.
At least one mobile number needs to be provided in the form along with the postal add ress. If students want to apply for minority quota, they will need to fill up specific column and furnish the required documents during approval.
CBSE students from outside Maharashtra will get featured in the merit list based on their marks after being converted from grades. For ICSE students, best-of-five module has been selected.
All data included in the form will have to be approved at the guidance centre with necessary documents. Without the approval, students won't be able to fill up part 2 of the form.
