The Government of Andhra Pradesh has enabled the "download submitted application service" for the candidates, who have applied for the Grama Volunteers/Ward Volunteers vacancies in the state.

The last date to submit online applications for AP Grama Volunteers/Ward Volunteers recruitment is today i.e., April 24, 2020.

Interested and eligible candidates are therefor advised in their interest not to wait till the closing hours as the serever may become unresponsive due to heavy traffic.

AP Grama Volunteer Recruitment 2020: Important Dates

 Vacancy Details The number of vacancies of Volunteers will be arrived by the concerned MPDOs/Municipal Commissioners as per clusters/territorial units, which are in functional existence after due consideration of the vacancies arisen, if any due to resignation or other reasons.

It is to be noted that the volunteers, who are on leave because of maternity and other health grounds may not be considered as vacancies.

Positioning
The positioning and commencement of work by newly placed Village/Ward Volunteers in the villages will start from May 1, 2020 onward.

 Reservation

The Rule of reservation is applicable as per the rules in vogue. 50% of posts within each category may be considered for women. ROR will be applicable considering ULB area as a unit. In case, no candidates of a particular category are available in the ULB, District may be taken as the unit.

Selection procedure

In case of Panchayats: All eligible applicants shall be called for interview by the Selection Committee consisting of MPDO/ Tahsildar / EO (PR&RD). The letter of engaging the services of selected Village Volunteers will be issued by the Chairman of the Selection Committee, i.e., the MPDOs.

In case of Urban Local Bodies: All eligible applicants shall be called for interview by the Selection Committee consisting of Municipal Commissioner, Tahasildar and PO / TMC, MEPMA. The letter of engaging the services of selected Ward Volunteers will be issued by the Chairman of the Selection Committee, i.e., the Municipal Commissioner.
