Odisha Joint Entrance Examination

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the OJEE Cell for admission to B. Pharm, MBA/PGDM, MCA, and M. Tech courses. The exam will be held in the computer-based test (CBT) mode for different papers. Based on OJEE 2020 scores, candidates can apply for admission to various programmes offered by OJEE participating colleges. OJEE is also conducted for admission to Lateral Entry B. Tech, MCA/Lateral Entry MCA courses.

OJEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Following are the required criteria for OJEE 2020 Admission. Before starting the application fill up process, candidates must read and understand the criteria and then apply for OJEE 2020.

Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear in OJEE 2020, however, the minimum age limit is 17 years. For Lateral Entry in B.Tech (Marine Engineering), there is a maximum age limit, which is 22 years.

Educational Qualification: The following table shows the education qualification various engineering programmes for which OJEE 2020 will be conducted:

Measurements and Motion, Characteristics of Materials, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Electronic devices, Heat & Thermodynamics, Liquids, Wave Motion, Atomic and Nuclear Physics, Optical instruments.

Chemistry:

General behavior of matter, Structure of atoms and molecules, Periodic classification, Types of chemical reaction, Metals and metallurgy, Organic chemistry, Aromatic compounds, Environmental chemistry, Basic Concepts of Chemistry (Atoms and molecules), Chemical bonds, Chemical energetics, equilibrium and kinetics, Electrochemistry, Nuclear chemistry, Aliphatic compounds, Chemistry in the service of mankind.

Maths:

Logic, Sets, Relation and Function, Number system, Determinants and matrices, Trigonometry, Coordinate geometry of three dimensions, Vectors, Integral calculus, Probability and statistics, Sets, Relation and Function, Determinants and matrices, Co-ordinate geometry of two dimensions, Sequence and Series, Differential calculus, Differential equations
