Post-Graduate Programme in Securities Markets (PGPSM)

PGPSM is a one-year full time robust fast track program which includes capital market specific courses that are a balanced blend of theory, practice, project-based course teaching and certification. This programme is suitable for professionals aspiring to enhance or develop their skills in securities markets and for those who want to make a shift in their career to become securities market professional. The program is supported by Finance Lab, Bloomberg terminal and other resources. PGPSM was launched in 2010-11 and currently the 9th batch is preparing for its final term.

Admission Procedure

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks from a University recognised by UGC or equivalent under 10+2+3 stream.

In addition to the above, candidates should fulfil atleast one of the following three requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of full time work experience, or
• Post Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks from a University recognised by UGC, or
• Has completed atleast intermediate or 2nd Level, of any of the professional qualifications like CA, CMA, CS, or CFA (offered by the CFA Institute).

Age

There is no age limit for pursuing PGPSM. However, applicants less than 30 years of age as on the date of application are preferred

Selection Procedure

Only the shortlisted applicants would be eligible for the second stage of essay writing/GD/personal interview.
