 The objectives of CUG are:

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

The Central University of Gujarat is conducting Online Entrance Test-2017 for admission to PG Diploma, Under Graduate, Post Graduate, B.Voc and Research Programmes offered by different Schools and Centres.

Schedule of Online Entrance Test-2017. Details have been uploaded on the website. For details—Click here. The University reserves to right to extend or change dates without assigning any reasons. However, any change in the exam schedule will be notified on the University website.

Reservation of Seats as per University norms, Government of India policy and instructions from UGC/MHRD issued from time to time

All applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for the programme. Students will be responsible if they opt for a course for which they are not eligible.

Applications should be submitted ONLINE only; OFFLINE applications will NOT be accepted.

Test Centre cities – Each candidate should choose Test Centre/Centres City of his/her choice. Change of Test Centres will not be permitted after submission of application forms. The University reserves the right to add or drop any Centre at any point of time. In case of cancellation of a Test Centre, the candidates will be allotted the second or third choice of Centre or a nearby Centre. In Such cases, advance notification will be given to Candidates.

A candidate can apply for a maximum of three programmes, in which they are eligible.

The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply for online Entrance Test, but at the time of admission, he/she will have to produce the mark sheet/degree about their fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

Mere appearance in the Entrance Test for securing pass marks at the online Entrance Test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Course applied unless he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria/conditions.

The University reserves the right to cancel/refuse admission at any point of time if it is found that:

Minimum eligibility requirement are not fulfilled.

False documentation has been done, or, facts have been suppressed.

Any other similar valid reason.

Question Paper pattern: - All Question Papers will be 100 MCQ with four options. Each paper will be only of two-hour duration. There will not be any negative marking.

Applicants are required to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number which should be kept active during the entire admission process, so that the university may send alerts, important communications etc. regarding entrance test on them.

As all communication will be made through email and SMS, please ensure that DND (Do Not Disturb) is not activated on your mobile.
