AIIMS Jodhpur PhD Admission Notice 2017 (Dec.Session) 

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur invites online applications for Entrance Examination through online (BT) mode for admission in PhD Programme Dec.2017 Session. 

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur, conducts Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) 

Duration of the Course 

The minimum period of registration in respect of all the candidates who are registered for PhD shall be three years and maximum period of registration shall not exceed five years.

AIIMS Jodhpur PhD Admission 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

A candidate seeking admission to the course of study leading to the award of a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy must possess at least one of the following qualifications of a recognized University/Institute: 

a) A degree of Master of Sciences or Master's degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences or Master's Degree in Nursing with at least 60% marks or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations 

b) MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations 

AIIMS Jodhpur PhD Admission 2017 Selection Procedure 

Selection of PhD registration is through a two stage process 

Stage-I 
Consists of a written examination in the subject the candidate has applied for. The question paper will consist of theory and clinical/practical/lab based multiple-choice Question (MCQs) and Short Answer Question (SAQs). Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. Each wrong answer will be awarded one third negative mark (-1/3). More than one answer will be treated as wrong answer and awarded negative mark. Zero mark will be given for questions not attempted 

Stage-II 
The Candidates who secure 50% or more in stage I will be eligible for stage II (Departmental clinical/practical/Lab based assessment). However, the number of candidates called for stage II shall not exceed three times the number of seats advertised

AIIMS Jodhpur PhD Admission 2017 Fee Details 

Each candidate selected for admission will have to pay the following Course duration Fees and dues: 

Registration Fee Rs. 25/-; Tuition Fee PhD Rs. 720/- (3 Yrs); Laboratory Fee PhD Rs.120/- (3 Yrs); Pot Money PhD Rs.720/- (3 Yrs); Caution Money Rs.100/- (to be deposited by every student for the recovery of breakages or loss of Institute’s equipment) 

Hostel Security Rs.1000/- (Refundable)
